I have just downloaded newest version of Outlook Connector to add my
hotmail-account to my outlook email accounts. The problem is, that my other
e-mail accounts (POP3) is all downloaded to a local pst-file, but my hotmail
account is downloaded to a specific hotmail, pst file. I cannot change the
file which it download to using the Tools/Account Settings in Outlook. Anyone
knows how change this?

Exchange and POP3 accounts get aggregated into a single message store
(i.e., .pst file). Each HTTP account gets its own message store so
each has a separate .pst file and each has its own set of folders. I
believe each IMAP account also gets its own message store.

Thanks, it looks like you are right. Is there a way to avoid this? It would
be nice to get all your e-mails downloaded into one Inbox. I once had the
same situation with a MS Exchange account, but as soon as I changed the
settings to not use an ost-file, it downloaded into the pst-file. I could
even set the settings to delete the downloaded messages on the exchange
server.

AFAIK Exchange mail goes into it's own Mailbox, not the pst Inbox....

Nope. If you have an Exchange account defined and a POP3 account
defined, their e-mails go into the same message store (i.e., you'll
only see one set of personal folders for that message store). You
could use rules to separate e-mails into different folders based on
which account they were received but rules don't work across message
stores so you can only move them into different files within the same
message store.

Years ago, Hotmail used to have an option to yank e-mails from other
accounts (if they were POP3 accounts). That option disappeared long
ago from Hotmail in the free version. I don't know if the paid
version still provides this option. I've never used them but some
users have noted using Hotpop and Hotmail Popper so you could see if
they do what you want.
