Outlook calendars

Is it possible to allow an authorized user to manually enter events on the
Conference Room calendar and still have incoming Meeting Requests accepted
or rejected automatically?

The people that are 'in-charge' and set up as owners of the conference room
profiles want to be able to enter items that come in to them by Senior
Managers so those managers need not be bothered by such 'menial tasks'.

I have been in the process of converting my company from either paper
calendars or Outlook calendars to the automated use of the Outlook
calendars. Old habits certainly die VERY hard so first it is taking a while
to get people to utilize the system the way it needs to be used. Some think
it is a long process! Oh REALLY!?!?...So is finding out if the room is
available when Jeanie isn't available to answer the question!! My other
issue has been the authorized users that want to enter the manual events don't
always do things correctly.nor do they always watch the incoming requests.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Version??

If you have 2002 or 2003 you should set up Group Schedules showing all the
rooms. Then each user can see all rooms' availability in 2 clicks!

And they can book them there as well.

Everyone - turn on your Advanced Toolbars and learn how to use the Field

Gee that's a bit lazy - first you don't tell us your version, and then you
don't bother typing Group Schedules into Help.

There's a button on the Toolbar called Group Schedules. You'll only see
it when in the Calendar. They are easy - make one and have a play.
