Outlook Calendar issues moving to exchange

S

SS

I've just moved to a hosted exchange solution for outlook. My problem
is that I can't get to share calendars. The dialog box that pops up
when I click on "share my calendar" is the old one, the tabs are
general, home, auto archive, and synchrinization. I can't get to the
correct one with permissions.

I am running XP home, using Professional Office Outlook SP3. Everyone
else in the group had no problem, only myself and one other person.
the only thing we had in common is that we both synched our outlook
with Treo's. I have uninstalled my Palm software, restarted the
computer, uninstalled microsoft office and reinstalled it (because
someone thought it was corrupt). i've repaired office, still no
luck. I only have one Outlook profile I'm running. The exchange
hosting provider is stumped, they said I should download Outlook from
their site. Not sure that will work, but I believe to do that I would
have to uninstall office again, install their Outlook version, and then
reinstall office without outlook.

Any ideas? Any help is REALLY appreciated!

Back up your .pst file first, and then download and install the hosted exchange version that they offer. It may be that they have tweaked it to work with Exchange. (Uninstall your version first, however.)

Thanks, unfortuantely I don't think that will solve the problem
because 2 other people in our office already had Outlook on their
desktop and didn't download the version from the hosted provider, and
theirs works fine. :-(

What version are you running - 2002, 2003, 2007? Have you tried making a new mail profile?

Have you changed your delivery location to be the Exchange mailbox?

thanks for your note..i'm running 2003 and no i haven't tried creating
a new profile. What I did notice today is that I have Calendar (4)
and then Calendar in personal folders showing up. And the rest of the
staff that have shared calendars that work don't have Calendar (4).
I have no idea what that means...but i guess it's something
originating from the Treo synch software that i uninstalled.
