Outlook Calendar Entries Disappeared

I installed Outlook Connector in Outlook 2007 to be able to continue
accessing my Hotmail email using Outlook. I now notice that my original
Outlook calendar entries all seem to be gone. Is Outlook using the online
Hotmail calendar as my calendar now? (I never used this calendar before,
just the Outlook calendar.) Is there a way to get my original Outlook 2007
entries back? I don't really care about the online calendar - just my
original local calendar. Thanks.

I did not make a new profile. I'm not sure exactly what "profile" you mean.
I simply installed the Connector and it modified Outlook's access to my
Hotmail. I.e., "Tools, Options, Mail Setup, Email Accounts" changed the
"Type" of account for my Hotmail to "MAPI". It did not change my non-Hotmail
email account.

I'm not clear on your question about the Hotmail message store. Are you
asking about "Data Files" under "Tools, Options, Mail Setup, Email Accounts"
? That lists Outlook.pst in a local Outlook folder as the default.

I hope I have understood your questions. Thanks for the response. Any help
will be appreciated.

That answered my questions. :)

When you switch to the calendar module or folder list, you should see
calendars in both the old folder set and the hotmail set and the one in the
old set should be the one that is used for every appointment except meeting
requests you receive through the hotmail account or that you create when
looking in the hotmail folder. I've never seen the connector move
appointments from the local store to the hotmail store but if it did, you
can select them and move them back (use by category view and select all.)

Do you access your hotmail through the web interface? if not, you could try
pop3 access. If you do, you can set outlook to leave mail on the server but
sent mail doesn't get uploaded and contacts aren't accessible in outlook.
(you can copy them to outlook's contacts before switching.)

Thank you! I've found my calendar entries again, and I see what you are
talking about. I just didn't realize that installing Connector resulted in
another calendar appearing in Outlook, and somehow that one got set as the
one I was using/viewing.
