I had to reformat the computer because there was a system error. It did not
delete all the files. After that I was installing office 2007 back to the
computer when I start installing the 2nd disc i get a message setup failed to
install Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express. I tried deleting the folder,
installing it manually, etc. I think it is the SQL Writer that is making all
the racket. Can you please help, I really need the BCM. or is there a way to
install it without the SQL.

Thank You
Lan Manlo

There are numerous potential problems with installation and updating of .net
in Windows XP. This may be one sourde of your problems. There are detailed
instructions for uninstalling and re-installing .net on the web. Do a google
search and follow them.

Also the Microsoft utility Windows Install Cleanup can help clean up ill
behaved installs and uninstalls.

It is also worth doing a cleanup of your registry after uninstalling
something that was giving you problems prior to re-installing as well as
cleaning up all the temporary files.

The Microsoft utility Windows Install Cleanup worked thanks Drjeckles. You
were really helpful. Thanks for the good information. I am now able to use
BCM.

Thanks a lot.
