Outlook backup tool will not install

I have one laptop running XP Pro that will not successfully install the
Outlook backup tool. I have followed article # 810932 and right-clicked on
the pfbackup.msi file to install it. . I have completely removed the file
and reinstalled it many times. The program says it has installed but no
BACKUP selection ever shows up under FILE. I have successfully installed
this tool on countless machines but this laptop has me stymied. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same challenge on my desktop machine
I have loaded pfbackup.msi file and "completed
installation" & BACKUP is not an option on the FILE menu
for Outlook. I tried closing Windows and opening again.
I tried reloading the addon several times, all to no
avail. If anyon has a solution I would be very
appriciative. My husband dowloaded it on his machine with
no problem, so I know sometimes it works.
