Outlook auto-complete

Each time I start up Outlook, it seems my auto-complete file has been
completely reset. It will only suggest names/email addresses of people I've
sent email to in the current session. I thought it would create a log file
that would just continue to build. Any thoughts or suggestions how to remedy
this?

It will.
This usually means a corrupt profile.
Create a new one from scratch.
