How do I delete names from auto complete

I want to delete unused email addresses from auto complete in Outlook 2003. I
have found tips that say to highlight the name with the up or down arrows and
hit delete, but there is no delete function when using the "new" email page.
So, where is it? How do I view the names in auto complete and choose which
ones to delete?

Just "select" one address at a time by using the ↓↑ keys,then use the
Delete key to delete each instance.
