Outlook Archival

Hi,

I would like to be able to force my folders to get archived based on the
Sent and Received date. I saw the FAQ at http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq.htm
which suggests that the File->Archive command looks at Modified Date rather
than Sent or Received dates. Is there a way to work around this ? Many of my
emails got moved around between folders recently, and so the Modified Dates
are quite recent.

Short answer: No.

Use File -> Open to open your archive .pst file and move the items from
your message store into the archive store. Then close your archive .pst
file.
