Outlook 2007: archiving is not working

Hi,
I think this question might have been asked several times but i couldn't
find any solution for my case.
I'm running Outlook 2007/Msexchange. I do know MS based archiving on
modified dates. the thing is i'm trying to archive emails older than April
20th (knowing modified dates are between 01/01/2009 and actual date).
Outlook seems archiving but in the taskbar, the process runs super fast and
no emails are moved. For info, my pst file is stored on a network drive.
My question is would it be possible to identify what's going wrong? is there
an archiving history somewhere?

Connecting to a pst-file stored on a network drive is not supported nor
recommended by Microsoft and could lead to data corruption or even data
loss. Copy back your pst-file to your local drive and run scanpst.exe
against it to check it for errors.
