Outlook and Outlook Web Access crashing with Vista

Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can help. I have a new laptop with Vista and have been experiencing some problems with Outlook and Outlook Web Access.

With Web Access, when I compose a new email or reply, I can enter the text fine, but when I click send, the window whites out - and then crashes.

With Outlook (2000), when I click to compose a new email, the programme freezes and crashes.

Can anyone suggest what I can do to fix this?
