It is called iis5.0. What type of OL account did you have on your XP. POP3,IMAP etc.

There is no Outlook account, Outlook is an email application that you
configure to work with your email account which is often supplied by your
ISP.
You can still access your ISP email, via web access, ie going to your ISP
site and logging on to web mail
If Outlook was set up in pop mail configeration for your mail account, you
would require Outlook installed on your Vista PC, then copy the outlook data
file to the Vista PC, then open that data file within Outlook

You likely will need personal help from a local consultant.

The concepts involved in retrieving your data from your Windows XP
computer are likely to be too confusing. We will probably need to remove
your existing hard drive and connect it to your Vista computer. Then
we'll need to recreate your account settings and retrieve your PST file
from the XP hard drive.

I am pretty sure fixing your XP PC will be less involved.

I can attempt to give you some instructions for that.

Please describe how your XP computer crashed.

Is it a desktop or a laptop? What is its model number? Can you boot it
up at all? When you power on the system, how far does it get? Do you see
any messages related to hard drives? Do you see the graphical Windows XP
screen? Do you see a text screen saying that previous attempt failed?
Does the system automatically restart in a continuous loop? If not, can
you get to Windows XP login screen or XP desktop? If you got to this
point, did the start menu load?

You aren't running an Exchange mail server so the web access connection to
Exchange provided via a web server is not an option for you.

Crashed how? That says nothing about the physical state of the hard disk
that was in that computer. You may still be able to salvage the .pst file
from your old computer. But you'll have to define "crash" first.
