Outlook address book

I have a client who's default contacts folder doesn't keep
in sync with the drop down list...

ie... When he goes to email someone he clicks on 'To',
the default contacts folder is selected, but there's names
missing...

Is there a limit to the ammount of contacts you can have
in a folder or is it something else???

No such limit. The Outlook Address Book will contain all the electronic
addresses in the Contacts Folder unless your installation is corrupt or
configured incorrectly.
Provide detail. What Contacts are missing?
