Outlook 98 and W2K Terminal Server

Hi,

I've installed Outlook 98 on a Windows 2000 Advance Server
which is running Terminal Server and is also a Domain
Controller and Outlook 98 only runs for Administrators
(inside a terminal server session). For non-administrators
the program just does not start, altough it used to before
this computer was promoted to Domain Controller.

When a non-administrator user tries to configure Outlook
98 this error show: "Control Panel: an error occurred
while Windows was working with the Control Panel file
C:\WINNT\system32\mlcfg32.cpl".

This computer is forming a whole new domain and there is
no other domain controller on this domain nor other
workstations. I've also checked the group policies and
they are at "Default state".

Thanks in advance

Regards

I don't know for sure, but perhaps making this server a DC modified some
of the perms on certain file to restrict access to only admins.

I honestly don't know how comfortable I would be having my DC double as
a TS, though. Sounds like a big ole security hole to me.

If you don't have any other DC's, perhaps you can make another machine
your TS.
