Outlook 97

Problem with Outgoing mail from Outlook 97. I need to set
the server to require authenication thus is the fix for
outlook express but I don't seee and option for Outlook 97

That's correct. Office 97 does not allow one to specify outgoing
authentication, so cannot be used to send mail via such services as SBC
Yahoo! or Comcast. I believe Office 98 was the first version to allow
outbound authentication.
