OUTLOOK 97 MAPISVC.INF error

A co-worker of mine tried to install MSN Messenger on his Windows 98 SE
system and can not get into his Outlook 97 anymore. He gets an error message
about the MAPISVC.INF missing. I have done some research and it says he
needs to install WINDOWS Messaging, but we can't find that in Add/Remove
programs. Can someone help us so that he doesn't have to reinstall Outlook
and lose all of his information?

Thanks for the article Andreas, but we are trying to avoid reinstalling
Outlook. We don't have the CD handy so we can't acutally do that. Thanks
for trying though!
