Outlook 97 error - "scrptxtn.dll" could not be installed or loaded

Hello all.

I just got a new laptop today with XP and a trial version
of MS Office 2003(including Outlook 2003). I have no
desire to puchase Office 2003 as Office 97 suits my needs
just fine.

I loaded Office 97 and was able to get Outlook Express
working but Outlook 97 does not load. Outlook 2003 also
appears to load just fine. I get the following error upon
launching Outlook 97:

The add-in "scrptxtn.dll" could not be installed or
loaded. Unable to install "scrptxtn.dll.

I need both Outlook Express and Outlook 97 to run
(separate mailboxes within the household.

Any help?

There is no such thing as having two different versions of Outlook on the same
machine. If you really prefer Outlook 97 over Outlook 2003 (which is truly
hard to believe), you must remove Outlook 2003 via the the Office 2003
Add/Remove options then re-install Outlook 97.
