I have lost my send/receive button in outlook 2003. I even tried deleting
outlook and reinstalling but my send/receive button is still missing.

removing the account then adding it again which didn't work. One point of
interest is that when I first start Outlook I see the send/receive button.
However, within 1 to 2 seconds the button dissappears. I did manage to get a
screen print of the page with the send/receive button there before it
dissappeared. What do you suggest?

reinstalling Outlook doesn't help with configuration issues only corrupt
installation files.

OST should be located in C:\Documents and Settings\username\local
settings\application data\Microsoft\Outlook. Reopen Outlook. The ost file
will be recreated. The Send/Receive button should reappear.
