Outlook 2007 won't default to my calendar when I have multiple ope

Outlook 2007 will not default to my calendar when I have multiple open. I
frequently view several calendars in addition to mine and usually have more
than one open. Whenever I switch from email view to calendar view, it
defaults to the most recently opened calendar. I have to remember to click on
my calendar every single time I send a meeting request, or it will send from
someone else's calendar instead of mine. In prior versions, it was the other
way around -- as it should be. You should have to click on another calendar
to send a meeting request from them if you want -- otherwise it should always
assume you are sending from yourself. I keep having to catch myself before I
send a meeting request because I have been inadvertently creating them from
another calendar instead of my own. This is very FRUSTRATING! What idiot at
Microsoft did this? Obviously, they do not use their own software. I have
checked all the settings I can and there is no way to change it. It is
hard-wired into the program.

As is the case with almost every window in the Microsoft universe, it
restores the last view you left it in. If you want YOUR calendar, SELECT
your calendar from the Folder list, end of issue.

No, duh! OK, you didn't pay attention. I already have my calendar open in
addition to several others -- mine, my boss's, a conference room's. All
remain open when switching back and forth from email to calendar view. With
multiple calendars open, Outlook keeps defaulting to be selected on the most
recent one opened instead of mine so when I switch from email to calendar, I
have to click on my calendar even though it is the first one open in the
window because others are open too. If I forget to actually click on my
calendar and create a meeting request, it creates a meeting request for the
last calendar in the list. It did not work this way in Outlook 2003. Outlook
should assume all meeting requests are being created from your calendar
unless you actually clicked on another calendar or closed yours.

Also, it doesn't actually keep the most recent view opened because if it
actually did that, then my calendar would be the active one when I switched
back and forth from email to calendar because that was the one I was on
before I switched to email view. It doesn't matter how many times I click on
my calendar before I toggle to email view, if I have any other calendars open
in addition to my own, it defaults to be active on the last one in the window
no matter how many times I have used mine before and clicked on it. I can
click on it til I'm blue in the face and I will still have to click on it
again when I go out of calendar view and back again unless I don't have any
other calendars open except for mine, which is rarely the case.

Last suggestion, elect to Open "Calendar" in a New window, DO NOT SWITCH
your e-mail view. After that Use that window for your Calendar, just use
the two windows, one for e-mail, one for Calendars.
