outlook 2007 will not display received messages

I installed Outlook 2007 and I can send email, but when receiving email,
outlokk shows it is downloaded, but no messages are displayed in the inbox
 
Have you looked to see if it is treating them as junk mail, and putting them
in your junk folder?
