Hi, I have recently upgraded from office 2003 to office 2007. Since my
upgrade, I am not able to view my Sent folder. When I click on it I get
Messaging Interface has returned an unknown error. I have tried restarting.
I have tried clearing the save to Sent folder, restarting and re-setting the
save to Sent folder. I have set the option to show me that I have 56 items
in my Sent folder. I have checked that it is about 4M in size. So I know
there are things in there. Seems like some corruption issue.. any ideas on
how to resolver are greatly appreciated.

Run SCANPST.EXE on your PST (unless you're using an Exchange account). Try
starting Outlook once with the /resetfolders command switch.

Thanks for the reply. After I posted my question, I did more poking around.
I found the scanpst and running that cured the problem.

Good news. Thanks for writing back.

Brian this sounds like my problem and the right solution...except I don't
know how to run scanpst.exe can you give me more explicit instructions thanks!
