Outlook 2007 safe senders spam filter not working

An example: I have an entry for @gophercentral.com in my safe senders
list
I have the option selected to only trust mail from my safe senders
list; yet mail from
TheDailyRecipe [[email protected]] goes to junk email. Why?

Its not in blocked senders, its not blocked at the domain level.

there are many threads along the same lines - basically the Outlook junk mail
filter seems to work in a mysterious way, somehow assessing the content of
emails even if the senders have not been flagged as junk before. It drives me
mad but Microsoft seem reticent to reveal any details or make it more
configurable.

The only advice I've seen is to get another spam filter (although I've also
seen people say you should not have two spam filters turned on at the same
time).

I appreciate I have not been helpful but we're all in the same boat with this.
