Outlook 2007 Recurrence Issue.

When ever I setup a meeting and invite someone, the meeting automatically
gets setup recurring (weekly). Even though I validate it is not set before
sending it. If I set up a meeting and I am the only attendee, it works fine.
very frustrating because I have to send an update with recurrence removed
which annoys my customers and associates. Any thoughts?

I have the same problem but with appointments that are just for me. It
usually happens after I have synched with my PDA. Haven't figured out the
problem. Posted this question on Aug. 1 but haven't received any info that
sheds light on the issue.

Hickorybelle, thanks for the update. Please let me know if you hear anything
and I will do the same. I see the MVPs answering most the other questions
quickly so I am somewhat concerned that we are experiencing something more
difficult...

thanks,

danno

Just to add a bit more weight to this, I'm also having this issue.

Me too. Did anybody ever figure it out?

It's a real pain. Around my company it isn't just me. Lots of people
are setting up meetings and then seeing that the meetings recur into
the future.

I can't figure out any pattern to it. Some of the meetings I set up
have recurrence set, and others don't, all without me ever clicking
the "Recurrence" button.
