Outlook 2007 not sending

I just upgraded to outlook 2007 on my visa business machine. I am working at
a church and sending emails to 30-50 people at a time. It won't send.
Actually, it will send, but it takes forever and usually times out. It has
taken me 3 hours to send 3 emails that mail for vista sends out no problem.
Any idea what is going on?

Are the outgoing mail servers exactly the same on both programs?

They are pretty much the same. A few of the options for each program is
different, but the smtp, sign in, and encoding are all set up the same.
ports are the same as well. That's why it seems so wierd.

If you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook, disable this
integration and try again.
