outlook 2007 not sending attachments with pictures

often_confused

I have just started using outlook 2007 and I have some problems. When ever I
try to send an email with pic attachments I get an error saying "the message
was rejected by the recipients server. There is a problem with your email
settings." I have never had this problem when using outlook express. I have
norton antivirus installed, but I always have. I have even tried turning it
off if maybe that was the problem, but no luck. Is there a setting in outlook
2007 that limits the size of the email? I have even tried sending it to
myself and i still get the same error.

This appears to be a message from your server saying that the recipient's
server is rejecting the message. It indicates that Outlook is operating
correctly and sending your message to your SMTP server and that server is
accepting the message but cannot pass it on. Can you post the exact and
complete text of the error message, masking any real mail addresses it
contains?

If you have mail scanning enabled in your AV program, you should uninstall
it and then reinstall it without the mail scanning feature.

No. Size limits are imposed by the mail server, not the client.
