| Hi,
|
| Does Outlook 2007 display the new messages properly? Note: The desktop alert for new emails are only for the new emails in the
default
| Inbox folder. If you rule all the new emails to another folder, the desktop alert will not show.
|
| Regarding the Outlook 2007 performance issue, did you test it under Outlook safe mode? Is Outlook working quickly under Outlook safe
| mode?
|
| Did you check the Indexing in Outlook 2007? What is the result?
|
| Also, check Windows safe mode to see if Outlook works find under Windows safe mode.
| ============================
| To come into Windows safe mode, please follow the steps below:
| Windows safe mode: All the third-party software and the unnecessary hardware driver (such as video card, network card¡) is disabled.
|
| 1. Restart your computer
| 2. Keep press F8, until the screen "Windows Advanced Options Menu" appears.
| 3. Press "Up arrow" in the keyboard to select "Safe Mode", press "Enter"
|
| If anything is unclear or if you have any other concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.
|
| Sincerely,
|

| | Hi Emily,
| |
| | I tried your suggestions but I was a candidate for only a few of the items
| | you listed to improve performance.
| |
| | My issue with performance is still present, are there any other things I
| | could try and is there a date for when the service pack is coming?
| |
| | Thanks for following up.
