Outlook 2007 can not connect after Windows Updates

Yesterday Windows Update installed several "important" updates, some for my
Outlook 2007. After the updates, Outlook 2007 tells me it can not connect to
the server. I use Outlook Connector to connect to my MSN mail account. Now
I can not send or receive and emails.

Any ideas of what to check? So far, MS tech support has not been very
helpful.

P.S. my system runs on Vista Home Premium 32-bit

No, I use Norton 360 and Windows Defender.

I was able to get Outlook working again by uninstalling all of the updates
that were installed two days ago.

The problem I have now though is I do not know for sure which update created
the problem, so I am a bit nervous about allowing Windows Update to reinstall
any of them!

I'd install them one-by-one until you find the offender.
