Outlook 2007 - Invalid EntryID error

Hi all,

After exporting contacts from Groupwise Addressbook via Outlook 2007 and gw
connector (the items where exported as a PST, big mistake!). All the items in
the address book have blank entries.

Clicked on Contacts and they show up just fine.
Clicked on Addressbook and hit the dropdown for Contacts and the entries are
blank. In order to correct the entries they have to be deleted, but they
really don't get deleted just moved to the top of list with the email address
exposed. Now they can be editted and saved back after a bunch of gyrations to
get all the fields fieled that outlook likes to have filled.

There are about 6 items left, they won't delete, they wont allow editting as
the invalid EntryID error pops up. And I suspect that if I export the
Contacts then delete the entire contacts folder that things will really get
mucked up.

Any help on how to correct something that should be easy to do is greatly
appreciated.

Thanks!

Importing often leaves mail addresses unresolved. Unless the addresses are
resolved, they won't show in the address book view of Contacts. I think there
are third-party tools that can force resolution. Start here:

Are you importing this PST or just opening it in Outlook?

Hi Brian,
The pst has already been imported, all but 6 address have been fixed as they
don't want to delete for some reason.

I'll look at your other post and see what I can get from that.

Thanks.
