Outlook 2007 images are blocked?

Hello

I have created an application that creates html emails. The emails
have images in them that are jpg files on the computer that is sending
the email. (Emails are sent to user who sends them, so the images
should show, i.e. the link is intact).

The problem I'm having is the the linked images are not showing when I
open the email. They are marked with a red cross.

I then try to open the email in internet explorer browser (using -
other actions - view in browser) and still the images are blocked.

However if I copy the html from the email and create a new html file,
the file opens correctly and all images are shown.

This makes me think that outlook is blocking the images somewhere?

Any ideas

Thanks

Thanks for your reply.

I already tried that one. I unchecked the box Don't download pictures
automatically etc.

Still images are not showing?

I didn't think it would make a difference as I'm sending the email to
myself, which should be trusted.

Thanks

Andrew

Outlook doesn't care who the messages are from. I believe it opens messages
in the Restricted zone.

thanks for the advice

I found out the problem was the direction of the slashes in the file
paths for the images!!

I think IE renders html emails for previous outlook versions but
outlook 2007 uses word 2007, which has a problem with slashes in a
forward direction!!!!

Thanks

Andrew
