Outlook 2007 hangs on very first launch

Just upgraded from Office Pro (2003) to Office Ultimate 2007 and now Outlook
2007 won't launch. It hangs on startup. Running WinXP Pro. Tried Safe Mode
and detect and repair, still won't launch. It never gets past the very
initial "configuration of accounts" screen.

Two options: delete 4 files and see if the profile works or make a new
profile in control panel mail.
