Outlook 2007 Hangs on Attach File

Outlook 2007 hangs whenever I click on the "Attach File" button when
composing a new message. However, if I use Windows Explorer and right click
on the file I want to attach and click "send to mail recipient" it will work
just fine. SP1 has already been installed and has not changed this problem.
I am running XP Pro.

Okay, I figured it out myself. I removed my antivirus & spam software
program from Computer Assocaties called 2008 Internet Security Suite. Now,
attaching files is no problem at all. I am going to try to re-install the
program in hopes that maybe something got corrupted and re-installing it will
fix all. Stay tuned...

When you reinstall, configure your AV to not integrate with email so it
doesn't scan incoming/outgoing mail. This won't compromise your security
since your real time scanner will catch everything it's updated for.
