Outlook 2007 handles disconnects/reconnects badly

I was a happy user of Outlook 2003 on XP with Exchange 2003 backend. It is a
laptop and I use it in a very mobile way disconnecting and reconnecting. All
was good.

Moved to the released version of Outlook 2007. Love the features. But it
does not recover from a disconect/reconnect. If I want to re-establish a
connection after I reconnect to the LAN or wireless I have to shutdown
Outlook and restart. Not good.

I have loaded a recent patch to Outlook 2007 - but no change

I hear other people who have the same issues but some on Vista or with
Ex2007 backends who are OK.

I used RPC over HTTP a lot but pretty suire it is the same direct

Any ideas?

I also have the same issues with MS Outlook 2007 :-(
I use an Exchange account with two (2) *.pst files.
Outlook often goes to 'Disconnetc' mode for hours and not even a
Windows restart overcomes this...

I tried rem, oving all RSS feeds, compating the *.pst files, unchecking
and rechecking the 'use cache exchange mode' but it did not help !

I simply give up !!!
