Outlook 2007 doesn't launch when service is running

I'm running Office 2007 on a Lenovo laptop w/ XP Pro and Xp autoupdating
turned on.

If I close Outlook after booting up and try to start it again it will not
start.

Then if I go into task manager I find TWO Outlook services running. If I
stop the process with the larger filesize, THEN outlook will launch.

If I close Outlook again, there is stil an Outlook process running. I must
shut it down before (or after as described above) in order for Outlook to
start.

I believe this started after an auto update but I'm not sure and has been
going on for several weeks now.

(I have to shut it down when I close my laptop before hibernation kicks in
because the laptop will sometimes crash with IRQ blue screen of death when I
reopen it, and if I left Outlook open then it takes forever to check the pst
file.)

Any ideas out there in the cloud on how to fix this Outlook problem?

Thanks in advance,
Richard

If so, do I have to completely un-install and entire program which may have
installed an add in ? I can't seem to find a way to just tell Outlook to
uninstall an add in. Ideally I'd just disable them one-by-one until I found
the culprit. Is that possible?

Thanks for the reply!

Hey Roady, good call!

I finally figured out how to disable the addins and it was one put in by
iTunes that I didn't realize/remember was there. After disabling it the
problem is gone.

Thanks!!
