Outlook 2007 Won't Initiate

I'm running Outlook 2007 on Vista 32, and sometimes when the PC has been on
for a while, I try to launch Outlook and it just fails to open. I click the
icon and it appears to begin launching (the little circle starts swirling),
but then it just goes away and the program won't launch. I have to reboot to
start Outlook again, and if I just leave the program open all the time, it
works fine. But if I close it down and try to reopen at a later time, 50% of
the time it won't initiate. No error messages, just won't open. Any ideas on
what's going on or fixes? Thanks for all your help!

That's likely due to the fact outlook is not closing completely.
If you check processes tab in task manager for outlook.exe, highlight it
then close the process's all will be ok
Failure to close is often caused by outlook add-ins / sync software or other
third party apps intergrating with OL
