I run exchange 2003 and outlook from office 2003. And when I install office
2007 it seems to able to find my sever at all and will not allow me to use it.
Can anybody give me some insight into this issue.

Thanks

Walter

Configure the connection manually - don't let Outlook try to do it.

any error messages?

I have loaded the Beta of Office 2007 and I am not able to send email using
Outlook. I receive the following message.
Task.’mail.bellsouth.net – sending’ reported error (0x800ccc80) : ‘None of
the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your
server.’
I understand that this is a Beta, but would you please help me?
Thank you,
Howard

Go into More Settings (in tools, accounts... select the account and open it)
and select different authentication settings and apply, then reselect them
and apply.

Thanks for the help. I found that you go into tools, accounts, but select
repair. Outlook then attempts an encripted connection with the server. If
that fails, you can opt for an unencripted connection. Worked great.
