Outlook 2007 closes unexpectedly

OL 2007 started CLOSING TOTALLY when minimize button clicked. How can I make
it just minimize so I don't have to reopen everytime?
 
is there an outlook icon in the windows tray (notification area) ? click it
and uncheck the hide when minimized option.
