Possible to change Personal Folders from expanding on startup?

C

Candice

I am running 2007, and have changed Outlook to startup in my IN Box of my
MAPI email account. This is working fine.

However, I can't seem to figure out how to have Outlook Open without
"Expanding" the tree view for Personal Folders. I would like this to stay
minimized, as I am not using it.

I have minimized the Personal Folders, closed Outlook, then reopened...
Each time the Personal Folders are expanded.

Any info would be greatly appreciate

Does this meann you're using Exchange or that you['re using the Outlook
Connector to access Hotmail?

I suspect that the Personal Folders you see are the folders of your delivery
location PST and if that's the case, I don't think what you want is
possible. However, try collapsing the folders, then click File>Exit to see
if it sticks.

If you ARE using the Outlook Connector with Hotmail, make sure you're using
a Live account and then you should be able to make the hotmail folders your
delivery location, eliminating the extra "Personal Folders" altogether.
