Outlook 2007: Blank "from" field when sending via POP/SMTP account

I've got 3 accounts set up in OL 2007 (Release version, 12.0.4518.1014): an
Exchange account (which is the primary account), an SMTP account, and an HTTP
account.

For any messages sent via the POP/SMTP account, the "From" field of the copy
of the message on my PC is blank (i.e. it doesn't contain my ID) when viewed
in the standard Outlook message list. My name does, however, show up when
you actually open the message. Also, anyone that receives these messages
sees my name and ID.

This occurs regardless of which account is the primary account. In
addition, this is new behavior for OL2007. My email configuration was the
same in OL2003, but did not have this issue.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

Thanks...

The From field has no meaning unless you're using Exchange. This is true in
Outlook 2003 as well.
