Outlook 2007 Backup Can't change location

I have been trying to change the destination location of the backup file.
It changed in the options box but still points back to the previous location
on close.
Where are those settings kept?
I uninstalled the program but the problem doesn't go away
Help please

I had exactly the same problem. I solved it by unchecking all folders when it asks what you want to back up, and then selecting each one individually and choosing your backup location. This showed me that one of them was not changing to my new lcoation, but did when it was the only one checked.
