pf backup won't save to new file location Outlook 2007

Hello,
I changed the location where I want to save the backup.pst file in the
options dialogue box for pf backup but on closing I get a screen pointing
back to the old location which doesn't exist anymore and so it wants to
recreate the location.

The new file location is correctly entered in options.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but it still wants to save to the
old location.

Please help.
