Outlook 2007 - 0x8007000E Out of memory error

Hello,

Outlook was stopping working a few seconds after staring up. It even
happened sometimes on safe mode. I made a new profile and it was solved, but
a new issue came up: It does not send or receive mail with any account.

I made another profile, but nothing changed. Then I read article 911084 and
tried to follow, but here I had problems. For method 1 I double click on
fixmapi.exe, but nithing happens, it doesn't run (why?). Following method 2 I
didn't find any damaged e-mail message. Then I read article 269794 and wanted
to do what is on the Workaround subtitle, but it doesn't say if it is done on
the same reg key, or on a new subkey, or even what should be written and how.
I can't try this. I think the name "workaround" tells what is is, not exactly
what a need, but if it solves the issue I could at least try.

Can someone please help me putting my Outlook 2007 functioning again because
as it is it is useless?

Assuming you have a POP account, can you check it on your ISP website? If
you leave a copy of your messages on the server, it's possible your mailbox
is jammed. If you clear out a bunch of stuff (probably alot of SPAM),
perhaps this will get your mail flowing.

Thanks for the answer.

I have several accounts, all POP. I', aware of full mail boxes and I receuve
too much spam, so I don't leave massages in them, but some can take quite a
lot like Yahoo's no limit. What else can it be, please?

Do you have an OST file? With Outlook closed, delete it and then try to open
Outlook again.

Another thing you can do is if you think your NT profile is completely
hosed, create a new one. If you're running as the administrator on the PC
you have to first create a new one in Manage My Computer and give it admin
rights.

LOL!

Thanks Kathleen. Sorry, I couldn’t answer before even if greatly interested.

I am not using OST files, but to be sure I made a search and found none.
Then I tried the new profile you recommended and made just a trial with one
account. I could receive a few e-mail messages from the Yahoo mail server. It
seems that something is wrong within my Administrator profile (I am the only
user of my stand alone home PC).

I think this heals the ache, but in exchange of a greater pain. In fact,
replacing a profile is close to reinstalling the OS, and this is something I
really wanted to avoid at this moment because I’m waiting for Windows 7 to
come out in less than two months. For me, reinstalling the OS is easy and
fast; what is an utmost time consuming and a real headache is to configure
and personalize it afterwards. This alone can take me several days. That’s
why I dare to ask: isn’t there another possibility, please?

Have you tried to repair the PST using scanpst.exe? It could be you have
some corruption in the file.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/272227

Are you connecting through a firewall? The only other information I can find
for you on this error is the following:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/e
n-us/wmisdk/wmi/connecting_through_windows_firewall.asp

This could indicate that a firewall is failing an anonymous connection which
results in your error.

Something else to try: can you pull your email using Outlook Express? If so,
Then it adds another clue to helping to resolve the problem.

Thanks again. Here are my answers to your instructions.

I compact and scan the PST files often because sometimes they have errors. I
scanned them again, bit no result.
I use Windows firewall only with Outlook enabled, and I have Avast antivirus
with outgoing mail check disabled. I followed the link and tried some
changes, but having no result I let it as it was.
I tried Windows Mail (Vista’s Outlook Express) and yes I could get the mail
from the account I tried. I think this means the issue is not on my profile,
but on Outlook 2007 alone or Office.

Or something that integrates with Outlook, such as FAX software, synch
software for a handheld, antivrus, antispam, etc. Does your application
event viewer show any Outlook or Office related errors?

S

Stryed

Yes Kathleen, I understand it can be on something integrating with Outlook
2007 and not only itself.

Fax software, I have only what comes with Windows and I use it very seldom.

I have no antispam and I have told about antivirus. The application event
logs don’t show any error information on Outlook or other apps. Everything is
supposed to be OK, but it isn’t.

I disabled all add-ins and Outlook started slightly faster. However, the
issue remained. I enabled them back. Then I uninstalled Outlook with the
Office installation (modify), I cleaned the registry with Uniblue and
reinstalled. I got the same installation I had uninstalled, same everything,
the same error. It is not understandable how Microsoft program removal do not
uninstall and delete everything they have previously installed. The Programs
and Features facility is pure rubbish as it has always been. They change the
names but not the quality, a disgusting marketing.

I don’t really know what else to do to use Outlook until I can change to 7.

What about what I wrote on my starting post, please? Could something be
done? Here it is again:
"Then I read article 911084 and tried to follow, but here I had problems.

Personally I would delete and recreate your NT account, assuming of course
that you're not using the administrator account to do everyday computing.

K

Back up your data first of course.

Thanks. Yes, I have my PST files backed up very frequently. What shall I do
next, please?

K

Kathleen Orland

I would create a new profile on the actual PC, in the operating system and
test with that.

Hello Kathleen, thank you again.

I have finally solved the issue. To start I know it is always something with
wrong or corrupt information, and that if we correct it the issue is gone. My
problem is that I very rarely find it because I don't know where to look for.
In this case I had to clean all the rubbish that Windows stupidly leaves
behind when it uninstalls any program. This is really disgusting from MS,
brainless.

As I told you before, I tried to clear everything that regarded Outlook
after having uninstalled, but as I don't know where, I always miss something.
So that I tried again and cleared the profile and other parts in the
registry, as well as the Outlook files at Program Files. I had done this
before, as I said, but without results because I always left something
behind. As I also said, I had already tried a new computer profile, I noticed
it worked, but I did not want to make a new complete computer configuration
because it was too much work; for just a little longer I had better making a
new clean inastallation of the OS. So this time deleted everything I could
think of again and also all account files that I missed before, at
C:\Users\MycomputerProfile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Accounts

I reinstalled Outlook and it started sending and receiving mail again, just
as it is supposed to do.

Thank you for your kind help and patience, Kathleen.

I have answered two days ago and it was accepted. Now I came to check up if
you had acknowledged and my answer isn't here! I don't what happened. I'll
repeat what I wrote.
