Outlook 2003

Does Outlook 2003 provide the capability of displaying a
different AD forest's global address list? It looks like
I can add an exchnage server address and specifiy a logon
to pull down that information.
 
Couldn't I just use the default Users directory? Does a
trust have to be involved?
