a few of the messages arrive...but not all of them. There seems to be no
pattern. (There are no messages in junk email.) I am setting up my new
laptop computer, but I still have access to the old desktop and that is how I
know some messages are not arriving at the new Outlook. In fact, I just
noticed the messages that appear on the laptop did NOT appear on the
desktop! Perhaps I need to network the computers for the time being?? Both
use wireless, if that matters. Thanks for your response.
That's normal. By default, when you download messages from a POP server,
they are deleted from the server. If your laptop deletes them, they won't
be there for your desktop to download. Enable the option to leave a copy of
your messages on the server, on the Advanced tab of your account properties
pages.
