When you set up email in Outlook 2003, it sets it up in a
mailbox folder. We use exchange server, and use a folder
called personal folders to receive email. Is there a way
to remove the mailbox folder? In my email, I have
personal folders, archive, mailbox, and public folders on
the left side of the pane. We need everything but the
mailbox. Any assitance would be appreciated.

Click Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing e-mail accounts>Next.
Make sure the "Deliver new e-mail to the following location" drop-down
points at either your Exchange mailbox (best choice) or your Personal
Folders file. Click Finish.

Next, right-click on "Mailbox" in the folder view and click "Close". After
shutting down Outlook, you can delete the PST file associated with "Mailbox"
if you wish.
