After 7/8/08 updates unable to send or receive email. Error: Can not find
incoming or outgoing mail server(POP3). Can not connect to incoming mail
server(POP3).

Hi Jawphire,
check the account settings and click on test account settings and let us
know the error message in detail. ( Tools>account settings>view or change).

Disable anti-virus to scan the incoming and outgoing message.

Let us also know the update in detail.

So uninstall the updates that apply to Outlook and see what happens.
