Outlook 2003 wont check for new mail anymore

I have outlook checking 3 POP accounts, and it checked for new mail
automatically for a while, but now I have to click 'send/receive' to get
mail. Tools | Options | Mail Setup | Send/Receive has 'schedule automatic
send/receive' checked for every 15 minutes.
It does not even check for mail on startup - I have to manually check.
Any help would be appreciated.

Howdy,
I just had the same problem with my Outlook 2003 and found an obscure
setting on Outlook under TOOLS>SEND/RECEIVE>SEND/RECEIVE SETINGS>DISABLE
AUTOMATIC SEND/RECEIVE and it was checked for some reason....

I unchecked it and VIOLA!! it auto send/receives again!!!!
