1 quick question.
What's different between Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003 work with Exchange
2003?
As my boss need me answer him, why upgraded outlook 2000 to 2003, a few
operations respond slower than outlook 2000.
he not only accept outlook 2003 required resources more than outlook 2000.
he need some detials information.
for example outlook 2000 is only query 2 steps to gather mail or calendar
information, but outlook 2003 would take more steps. i only know outlook 2003
is rpc proxy, so it need contact DC/GC, outlook 2000 is directly contact
Exchange server.
Which one can help me? Give me more detials operation difference on Outlook
2000 & Outlook 2003.
Thx a lots

I'm not really sure where you got your information as it is not all correct
or complete.

What makes you say Outlook 2003 responds slower? What operations are you
refering to?
Also what steps to gather mail or calendar info?
Outlook 2003 offers RPC over HTTP in addition to other accounts types
supported by Outlook 2000 so that is not a negative thing. A DC/GC is
required for Exchange so is also used by Outlook 2000.

Some great new features of Outlook 2003 over Outlook 2000 are Cached
Exchange Mode, Search Folders, Junk E-mail Filter, phishing Filter, Internet
picture/object blocking, side by side Calendars, Navigation Pane, improved
Reading Pane, etc...
