Outlook 2003 - Win Installer repeatedly accesses A:drive Why?

I even uninstalled/reinstalled Office 2003, but that had no effect on this
problem. Outlook works as expected, otherwise.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
