Outlook 2003 will not send email, error ox800ccc78, 5305.7.0 authentication
required. I receive email ok, just can't send!!!!

Your outgoing mail server needs authentication. This is done to cut down on
spam among other things. Check your settings or contact your ISP. They can
walk you through the procedure for getting squared away.

Open your account properties and, on the "Outgoing Server" tab, check the
box labeled "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
