outlook 2003 want to change inbox to HTML format

I have imported mails from outlook.pst. The problem I have is that the mails
do not show any of the foolwing jpg;gif;xml or html. It only shows the web
link.

I believe it has to do with all the recived mails are appearing as plain
text and it cannot be changed to HTML format.

Can somenoe tell me if it is possible to change receiving / received mails
to html format. this option is blocked out.

Hi,
open your received email,
edit > edit item > format > choose the format you want

Thank you,

To change the format I had to go to EDIT- edit Message Then only did it
allow me to go to FORMAT and change from plain text to html.
However, this did not solve my problem.

The problem i have is that all jpg or gif info in the mails received are not
showing excepting as a link.

This was your first mistake. Don't import. Use FIle>Open>Outlook Data File

Outlook 2003 won't automatically download images from the web. This is a
security feature. See Tools>Options>Security.
